The sites, they are a'changin'
Nov. 30th, 2006 11:08 amYou might've noticed that there hasn't been much of the way in posting 'round these parts lately. Well, there's good reason for that: I'm lazy. No, wait, that's not right. Well, yeah, it's right, but it's not the reason for the no-posty.
Some changes are coming to my little internet empire, not least of which is the fact that this blog is soon to undergo a transformation into something different. I'm not quite ready to tell you what's going to be going in this space (I hope to launch it during December), but I think it'll be cool, and I'll likely be soliciting all'a y'all's help with is, so keep watching this space.
But what of the Do or Do Not we've all grown to love and admire over the last 18 months? Don't worry, all of the same acerbic, witty, frighteningly perceptive posts that you've come to expect from... well, from others, but which I try to give you anyway... those'll be continuing. Just not here. All of the back content from this site, and all new ramblings about pop culture, my kids, and whatever else comes to my mind will from now be housed at the ridiculously egotastic AllenHolt.com. Yeah, yeah, I know. But I wanted to claim the URL before I got mega-famous and some cybersquatter did, and it also seemed like a good way to consolidate all of my writing (including movie reviews from the long-neglected Moviegeekz) over the last few years in one place and start trying to make a name for myself. The URL still feels a little bit weird to me, but I'm trying to get used to it.
Anyway, there's already some new content up there from this week, and I intend to be much more regular with the content updates. Also, with the new site also comes a new RSS feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/AllenHolt. I'd encourage you to add that link to your favorite RSS reader ASAP so you don't miss out on all of the fun. Hope to see you all there!
