Official Rock Band 2 Track List

Since it's now on Entertainment Weekly's website and the Rock Band 2 teaser site is now live, I think that means it's safe to point you guys at the long-awaited track list for RB2. 

(I had absolutely nothing to do with picking the songs, though I will say that several of my all-time favorite songs are represented in the list!)

i thought you said there'd be more FEMALE vocals? maybe it's just that there are female-fronted bands on that list that i don't know of, but looking down the list i was sadly disappointed at how few female vocal tracks there were... again! i thought they said this was something that would be remedied in RB2? personally, as a woman who TOTALLY RAWKS the rock band vocals, i'm kinda sad. not that i can't sing along to the male-vocals (i do quite well, actually, and have no problem shifting octaves when needed), but it's the principle of the thing.

we'll still buy it though! ha ha

All the beta testing's already done, sadly -- at this point, you'll just have to wait for the release. It'll be worth it, don't worry. :)

I think there are more female vocals, but clearly still not a lot of female vocals. Trust me, you're not the only one who's asking about this issue! I'd also keep an eye on the downloadable content, too -- I'm sure some more female vocalists will show up there.

You definitely should buy it when it comes out. Gonna be awesome. :)
